i died laughing at a few.
I found this on the topic "Blockland is NOT minecraft."
/discuss

What's funny is that on a list of minecraft clones, going by his logic most of the games are copied by minecraft according to release dates.

holy cow
when will people learn that Blockland and Minecraft are nothing alike except they are both sandbox and both contain cubes?

What's to laugh at? The concepts of the games are similar.

It says Blockland isn't a clone but has similar gameplay.
Doesn't even have similar game play at all.

It's the actual building part in which it fails.

It's not alone in this, though. LEGO Universe, the official LEGO MMORPG and building game uses this same system. In Blockland, as in LEGO universe, you place blocks by first selecting the orientation and position of where you'd like to lay it down. Then, when you're happy where it will go, you press the Enter key on the numeric keypad to actually place the blocks. In this way, building is more accurate since blocks can be different shapes and sizes, but it's also much slower than other games.

If the developer of Blockland were to re-release the game with controls that matched Minecraft key-for-key, I'd bet his sales would skyrocket. I'd love to see that.

Are you kidding me? -_-

Minetards always assume that anything with blocks = minecraft clone.

oh stuff

Detonate looks awesome

Theyre just jealous
I don't get how Blocklands building system could be any easier...

i was forced to do a blog for computer class and i wrote an article on how terraria is not like minecraft, and how everyone who says it is is stupid.
