Hey, 1200 is a respectable army for a militant nation of 5000, and mounted polar bears are quite ferocious.

My forces withdraw and retreat back into Nexia.  Amnesh sends an unseasonal blizzard to cover their escape.
Locals are able to return to the area and tear down the fortifications, but find one formidable castle constructed in a strategic position that can be used to defend against future Nexian invasion.  You can choose to occupy the castle or tear it down.  Also note that the castle is completely dedicated to Amnesh and his archangel of war, Zulnesh.

No official surrender has been made, but the blizzard also severs communication.

Northern tribes have almost completely been absorbed into Avalonia, and have founded the city of Tar-Phazaron in the northwestern frontier of Avalonia. They are allowed almost complete self government; their only requirement is paid labor on Avalonian construction projects. Thus, Avalonia's population has grown by 50,000 to a total of 550,000. More are expected to assimilate int Avalonia.

A cbrown town is being dug from Avalonia's capitol of Aumrot to the sea (I'm pretty sure the blue stuff on the edge of the map is water). A naval base is being assembled near the intended location of a port city where the cbrown town reaches the sea.

Avalonia's capitol city of Aumrot is being increasingly fortified, especially due to Nexia's hostility. Guarding of the borders has been redoubled.
