Please note Avalonia, Erinaum's system is a hybrid of a Republic and Communism.  I could've used much more force in the last 10 pages, but I chose not to because I knew that would all end badly.  My government is essentially a republic, but issues laws and military order by command.  These can naturally be overridden by a veto system.  The economy is regulated to avoid events such as Black Tuesday.

To each his own. Nonetheless, I doubt that things could have gone a lot worse. For about 5 minutes we were all in Caprica killing each other, essentially at war. I must say that I've got nothing against Erinaum except that it went all anti-Avalonia and basically annulled our alliance when you found a Commie ally that suited your needs a little better. Fair weather friend.

Avalonian economy is engineered to avoid such events as well by ensuring constant growth and that things are kept at their natural price, but trusting that the economy can manage itself in these matters. At the same time, the government neither condones or opposes strikes, unions, or guilds. This ensures a booming but stable economy.

I never went Anti-Avalonia.  I've been a representative socialism for a while and never opposed you until you turned your back on me once I jointly formed the Red Sphere.  You were not being replaced either.

As soon as I enacted an embargo on the regime that replaced one of my allies, Erinaum wouldn't have lifted a finger to help Avalonia if there was a sudden catastrophe. Yes, I have essentially been replaced.

I'd ditch the Cavalry as a force to use in battle.  Keep it in your honor guard if you wish, but nowadays it justs puts you in danger of snipers.

Well, apparently anything associated with the Soviet Union is bad bad no no so the Capitalist countries threatened SWAT and I for being Socialist.

As for tech., we're currently pre/during WW1

Well recently Caprica has experienced a meltdown and both the Avalonian Union and an organization called the Red Sphere (see above) fought over the control of Caprica.  Caprica had been under legal influence of Erinaum for many years, and Even though Erinaum allowed Caprica to make alliances and form trading groups, Caprica was still subject to Erinaum's intervention if Erinaum did not see its government progress as stable, violated the contract, or displeased a majority of the Erinamese Officials overseeing it.

Now, you may be wondering what this "contract" is.  Caprica had existed for a long time as a country, but due to Frontrox and other nations' leaders leaving, Avalonia and Erinaum divided up the world map and, in doing so, Caprica became under the control of Erinaum.  It was almost annexed when Frontrox came back and wanted his country back.  I gave him a deal, since his country was close to becoming Erinaum, he would have time to develop his country, under the direction of Erinaum.  In its final review stage, Caprica had experienced a revolution and had been overrun by the Socialist Party with the aid of The Red Sphere.

It was practically another Vietnam War, just shorter, and with lower tech.

Now for technology.

The Red Sphere and the Avalonian Union are practically in a cold war state, trying to advance their technology.  We are basically at mixed points of history on this.
Aviation is placed at around 1928.
Weaponry is placed at around 1917.
