Installed and watched the AI go at it in Demo Mode. It looks fancy, and it'll probably be more fun later on... Why does the site say "Alpha - Beta - Gold?" Does Gold mean release, or like a specialized account... Because, as an Xbox Gamer, Gold means paid account.

gold is the release version.
a game "going gold" means that it's finalized and being put on discs to be shipped out to retailers.

But I'd say giving your money to gaben is worse :o

I also just bought a wired xbox controller for this, and I'm not sure if I like the controls. They are a little hard to remember at first.
But overall, having the controller added to the game is pretty cool, and easy to play.
