Well, minecraft had a some install Java 64 for farther rendering, it didn't change a thing. I tried a newer version of Java and still nothing changed. Changing the amount of allocated memory didnt work either. So, im screwed?

I was using that graphics card for a while. Had to run everything on low, but still got a laggy 30fps on minecraft, and tf2, which still was a little enjoyable. But then I upgraded to the AMD 5570. Now everything is oh-so-smooth.

Yeah, most of them do easily. I would say, to save a couple hundred, and get a Gaming PC, but, it's still good.

that means it's almost certain that it is due to a problem not caused by the manufacturer

I'd say lack of VRAM.
Those 6150SEs are quite bad, and it's even quite a step up to a horrible 6200.
