oooh the contradictions pain me!

What contradictions?

To truly understand the meaning of most of those statements, one must know the culture and customs of the Hebrew people, and knowledge of the prophecies in the Old Testament.

Lawl, there is no real life. Just AFK. Screw religion.

If the old testament doesn't matter then why have it? (BTW my arguments are getting poor because I am getting really tired, I am going to bed now)

History, prophecy, etc.

It still relates to the New Testament in a few ways. Some bibles only have the New Testament though, which isn't because the Old testament isn't relevant, but so that it is more compact.

But you said it doesn't matter anymore! Why would it relate to the New then!

It's called eliminating an old rule system but still keeping the important pieces AKA The Ten Commandments. There are no loopholes in the Bible, just people who don't study it.

I'm a believer in our lord the great Flying Spaghetti Monster.
How about you? Have YOU been touched by the noodly appendage?
Also, I only read the first page and then skipped here. HOLYstuffDEBATE

I never said anything about language and translations, I said culture. According to that article I posted, the Hebrew culture was familiar with apocalyptic language that actually symbolized other things and were not always literal.

Yes, I don't like that part, so Its overruled, OH but that looks good so you can stay.

Bullcrap.

Culture includes language, and you've said something about language in this very post

I have an argument to post here:

You say the big bang theory is impossible because it came out of nowhere.

But Christians say that their god is possible, even though it came out of nowhere.

I just want to know how you Christians will answer this, and please don't say,"Because he's God"

There are no loopholes in the Bible, just people who don't study it.
There are loopholes in the Bible, but there is always a counter.

Oh, it's just a mistranslation!

God actually said this!

Edit: I hate it when people thank God for things that I did.

God didn't do it, I did. I deserve the credit, not God.
