What the forget is wrong with people?

Random friend request, Okay that's fine.
Talk to random person
Have a short conversation with person
Ask why person added you (perfectly find question imo)
Person randomly goes offline
Has had this happen before, check steam profile.
Person has removed you

Now i have no problem with this, but if you're going to add somebody then removed them later why bother at all?

Edit: This isnt just because of one instance, it has happened to me several times.

Most of the random F/r's i get are furrys themselves. I don't see how that's a problem though. Plus they have to physically look at my profile to add me.

Sometimes I get steam requests from complete strangers.  Their name is completely unrecognizable, their picture and mutual friends give me no detail as to who they are and honestly I just ignore them because it's just weird.
