also, i have that classic windows white arrow pointer, so if you have a cursor set, that'd be nice.
oh, and if anyone knows how to change that selection square for the desktop from being an ugly dotted line box, that'd be great.

It all depends on personal preference. But you should have a Portal 2 background, that'll make any computer look nice. You can also get yourself some desktop buddies.

Organize your icons on the desktop.  I literally have 0 icons on my main monitor, only my second one, because I launch all games through Steam anyway except for a select 3.

Who seriously has a portal 2 wallpaper anymore?  It's 6 months old almost, if you do you're obviously a big fan of the game, hence "fanboy".
