Herp da derp stupid resizing screens

and I need help.
every time i play a game like Terraria and have it windowed, it is at 800x600 and it's really annoying
every time I pull up the game, I have to resize it manually
is there any modprogram that can do it automagically?

Is there a way to make it JUST how I like it and then save it that way?
Also, some screens don't allow me to, like Haven and Hearth.
