Notch made it for the ludum dare thing. pretty fun. Its like minecraft, but instead you have a main objective instead of survival, killing the sky wizard.

Because you slowly drown as you swim. It uses the stamina bar, which makes it REALLY suck. You think you can hit trees from the water, uses up stamina, you start drowning and can't get to shore.

You can place dirt in the water to make it...not water.
