Author Topic: Need Poem Title  (Read 303 times)

I'm horrible at poems, so I created a poem about a present.  I think it's good (for my standards) it just lacks a title.  I'm bad at making titles, so I could use some help.

Also, any suggestions to further improve the poem would be helpful.  Thanks.

The Poem:

You sit there, patiently waiting
Beautiful, and mysterious
A radiance of bright red,
and your perfect, green silk bow

Heavy and vast
A coating of mystery
Covers you like a blanket,
Like you're trying to hide

Colored lights reflecting off you,
With a wonderful brilliance
I just stand in awe,
Something about you is mystifying

You're square, but more than that
You're anything imaginable
You read my mind, you know my desires
You never guess wrong

The color, now poured on the floor
The green bow teared up,
Your beauty, gone
Yet you come back next year

I forgeted a dog in the ass yesterday

Dono Vobis. It's Latin for "A gift for you".

Love the ones by Magick and Peejster.

Thank you so much.
