Author Topic: Argument about HL2 with my brother.  (Read 2283 times)

My brother says that Half Life 2: Episode 1 and 2 were DLCs.
I say that they are games by themselves.

What do you guys think?
Am I right? :I
Also, I'd put this in games but games doesn't get enough attention and I'm mostly discussing the argument.

they weren't DLCs hes a loving dumbass

They are stand alone games that only really build on the story and are not directly integrated into Half Life 2 itself.

You're right because you're cool and known and he's a nobody and we love you but we don't love him cause he's not known but you are so there

the episodes are glorified mission pack DLCs.
technically they are standalone expansion packs, but content wise they add very little.

i told him that everyone agreed with me and he denies it and says I'm wrong and that I didn't tell you 'his side of the story'.

what
it continues the damn storyline
and they're standalones

probably another codcigarette

Tell him MW3 is just CoD DLC with new maps and a few guns.

He hates Call of Duty and loves Battlefield.
He says the only good thing about CoD is the storyline :/

Slap him for disagreeing with you.

Tell him that Battlefield 3 is just a DLC for Battlefield 2 that adds new maps and stuff.

episode 1 and 2 are expansion packs/dlc/whatever you want to call it

their relation with HL2 is like the one between Halo 3 and Halo: ODST
except not as utterly horrible
