Author Topic: Aplems Italian City Center [C] App - UPDATED HOPEFULLY FOR LAST TIME  (Read 3649 times)

Bump for the updated stuff. How does it look now?

The exterior looks very dark and dreary now, which is probably not what you're looking for

Italian buildings usually use beige as you can see from pictures, which is light

The dark red for the interior restaurant area is much more nicer, as it gives a homey and warm feel. This is what people would want to feel in a restaurant. Although, where I think the bakery is, you have brick floors, which makes the place feel very ghetto.

I also forgot to mention this before, but why would you have a railing on a wall?
Another note is the skylights. They are extruded so far into the roof, it makes the roof look thick enough to block missiles.

I won't tell you what colours I think are best, because I want you to figure that out yourself.

The new exterior color is lovely. I suggest that you should make the wall pattern a bit different though.
That pattern is pretty popular and it works really well, but I think you should add something to it.
Something that brakes the pattern. Maybe some sort of column in the wall etc.

The grass is way too dark. I also suggest more details to the gardening. Plants, roots and leaves. (no colorful flowers)
Walkway looks topnotch and the interior is heavily improved.

Thanks Sleven. So I am literally on the verge of getting this build pretty well in shape I guess.

The railing on the wall is a constantly used design in Italy mainly for its look is really all. I could get rid of the ones that are not in front of the windows but I would assure you it would look quite horrific. Could you also please elaborate on the "column" design on the wall? I kind of had to keep the one I have because of the lack of space in the three rooms.

Also am I editing all this stuff to be accepted into [C] or just because you guys want to see this perfect?

You need to fix dem chairs

inb4"Thrice updated!"

the dark gray contrasts the light beige a lot, which doesn't match well.

So I shall lighten up the grey a little.

Its nice, but the interior is still lacking, and the roads are very bland

i would have to give it a "no"

First off the interior is not what I am mainly focusing on because I don't care about the chairs like you said earlier. Second off if the roads are what you were paying attention to than you need to actually take another center focus. If you want to see the roads not so bland then scroll down to the very bottom older pictures and you will see I had cars there.
