So I'm curious to see what kind of laptop people use on here. I'll start out by posting my own. Try to duplicate the template if you can, as it is easy to read. Post as many specs as possible. Links to CNet or a similar at best.

Lenovo Ideapad V570

Specs
Screen: 15.6"
Resolution: 1366x768
RAM: 6GB (Up to 8)
HDD: 750 GB
Processor: Intel 2nd Generation Core i5 (2.40 GHz)

Special Features: Fingerprint Reader, Facial Recognition, One-Key Recovery, Built-In Decrypter / Encrypter, Shock Sensor, Full Keyboard, Video Surveillance, Boot-Time Recorder, SMB Security Suite, 50 GB of Password Protected(Fingerprint / Face) HDD, SecuPort Lock. Supports WiDi connections, has an N Intel Wireless Adapter, VGA and HDMI Ports, a DVD / CD Reader / Burner, 4 USB Ports, Webcam, and Microphone.

One-Key Recovery: Button near power-button that allows you to create quick backups. Also acts as a power button. If you press it while the computer is off, it will boot to the One-Key recovery system that is on another HDD separate from windows. It will let you choose from your backups and restore your broken windows to a certain date.

SecuPort Lock: This feature does not allow users to copy sensitive files / system files over to an external drive without a fingerprint from the owner.

Shock Sensor: If the Ideapad detects that it is being dropped, and or moved, it will stop spinning the HDD to prevent damage to it. Major shocks(drops, earthquakes, etc.) will cause the system to quickly go into hibernation.

Performance Rating

Pros: Has a beautiful slate gray aluminum finish as the case. Boots up in less than a minute, and logs on almost instantly. It is speedy, secure, and built beautifully.

Cons: The 4 Hour Battery Life on it is not impressive, however, it depicts the power that it consumes.

That's a pretty hot laptop.
Mine is pretty much the cheapest Toshiba Satellite, but I don't use it. It was for school last year and I only use it on road trips and sometimes as a Blockland server.

Special Features: 4 USB Ports, CD-RW/DVD-ROM, VGA Port, Trusted Platform Module (TPM 1.2) Security Chip, SmartCard reader (don't know what else to put)

Pros: Small, Windows 7 boots up in about 30 seconds, desktop is loaded about 20 seconds after.

Cons: 1440x900 makes text a little small for a 14.1" screen, overheats a little easily (set it down, play Blockland, heats to ~167F from ~115F), heavy for a laptop this size.

I like it. :u

Er...

Memory is RAM.  Disk space is just disk space.

I've always called RAM memory, and disk space memory.
