I find it amazing how you need steam to be online just to play offline games. If steam were to shut down its servers you will never play any of your steam games again.
Not true, you can run them in offline mode dumbass.
Which you still need the steam client in order to do so. One day they could just disable client use, shut down servers and never be heard from again.
That's true with PS3, Wii, Xbox360 etc.
Um, you can still play offline PS3 and wii games even without online support. Steam is all internet based.
Holiday sales are bringing in enough activity to bog down the servers making steam work on and off.
I'm trying steam again, so far no luck...
