some stuff pretending to be svchost.exe is attacking, shut my computer down twice, did some scans in safe mode, they found it but don't seem to be working.
I used Malwarebytes and did a full scan, using Rkill aswell.
The description of the "Svchost" was something along the lines of "winrscx" or some stuff.

I think this is to run your services, including but not limited to: Anti-virus, printer applications, certain video card driver protocols, and so on.
Keep trying to remove it.

win 7. stuff just blue screened me. I'm on my phone now. Safe mode it is then. This is one of the most annoying viruses. I've dealt with.

I had this for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time, I didn't notice it doing anything but I installed AVG (free anti-virus) and it was removed upon opening it the first time in an instant

I know what svchost is and this one is clearly a virus. It has a stupid description and has been picked up by ma;warebytes and rkill

That's it. But it won't stop coming back.

install avast! anti-virus and run a quick scan. or install malwarebytes.

I think I have an svchost virus, everytime I boot up () svchost starts up like 500 times and then closes itself. Although normally svchost never opens on bootup.

Found a site for help on removing the virus: here.
