Pablo, everyone! Goodnight!

Ignore troll.
I'm installing avg but I dunno when my comp might shut down again.
I'm scanning thru my task manager and closing the odd one out when it opens as that seems to keep my shutdowns from happening.

Safe mode usually prevents .exe files from running, but there have been cases where the viruses bypasses that. I had one that overwrote all my files to run a virus .exe. Eventually I just had to drop a few anti viruses into a usb stick and download them. Good luck though.

Thanks. I've gotten rid of a lot of malware before but this is bad. I'm gonna let avg scan while I rid of the virus.

Avg full scanned, not sure if that even achieved anything though.
Malwarebytes still caught Svchost, but I haven't been shut down for awhile.
Any suggestions on how to permanently rid of this?
I'm actually on my computer now.

Svchost running like 17 times on your system?

think its a virus?

...wait a minute....

I think as long as it's not running in a profile, it's not a virus.

My system does the same thing. It's not a virus.

I like the part where you read the topic.
Svchost is a vital process.
Its virus counterpart is not. What do people not understand? its not that difficult.
I'm infinitely sure the one appearing on my Task manager was a virus as it was differently described in the description bar, and was halted by rkill.

If you wouldn't mind I would suggest setting your system back before you got the virus.

I do mind, as that would never work.
