My laptop has 16gb of ram(Too much, I know XD), but 5-6gb is where you won't have to worry about not having enough

New system?  Depends, how much can you spend and do you want a prebuilt or build yours yourself?

New GPU?  ...eh... Hard to say.  It may not be an option actually.

When it comes to laptops, the only thing you upgrade is RAM and hard drive in some cases.
