In tribute to ReactorWorker's series of planet maps I enjoyed back in 2007-2010, I'm making my own map with his ideas and aspirations in mind.
But anyway, here's a size comparison on the planet's that have been done so far
(These are only placeholder textures, and the sizes may not exactly be to scale in the final version, it depends on Torque's max draw distance!)
Each planet will have an interior inside, the moon will have a few craters, Earth have rolling hills and a water source (I'm using Physical Zones and a shape for this since Torque water floods the entire map) and Saturn would be a cloudy area with floating rocks, these won't be the only planets here though, the map could stretch out for miles and miles!
Also, best of all, it would be aligned to the brick grid! so you can build space colonies and stuff.
Anyway, I'll post more updates here, keep an eye out!
