Author Topic: Cylofort; A build/defend game  (Read 9881 times)

So I've added neat stuff & moved around the menus but it isn't really worth a picture.

so basically cyclofort is a 2d side view of a tower defense.

sounds nice, but what happens whn you build extremely tall walls with turrets everywhere? What about not being able to afford turrets?
You try and survive the night, and buy some grill plates or wallbombs.

Anyway, this weekend/break I want to finish Third Rail. I've completely redone everything using my new array referencing method & it works great. It should be done by monday.

looks good

also the art is not going to come at this rate i need prodding. do you still need it?

I need environments for Third Rail. Train tracks, train stations, it doesn't have to fit any specific style. Just make sure all of it is consistent, and that would be AWESOME.

ok sire

ill do some on Tuesday in class rather than fail at Starcraft

I've done a lot of work so far. I'm trying to keep up with the whole idea of Mojam thing.

how bout I do some non-detailed stuff and then get a lot of those instead of one detailed thing a day

Top down or side scroller?

also now that its pixel art I might need to drop out. I'm not that great at that stuff, but I can give it a shot. However no image transparency guaranteed.

It's top down. It doesn't have to be pixely, I just make full-res images and then pixelate them on Paint.net, or scale up tiny ones for sprites.

The pixel art looks above average! I may help with the sprites too. :)

The short story note trail has been added.

just posting to assure you i will be doing some stuff

i already did some preliminary drawings just have to scan them and do it on computer

its going to look half-modern but have an offset smokestack. what era is this game going to be in
