Author Topic: run out of energy= change datablocks?  (Read 391 times)

I use the Dogfight playertype for a lot of my minigames, but I'm beginning to notice that if I ever use another playertype (via changedatablock event) that has energy, if I use all the energy, I change back to the dogfight playertype. For example, I choose to be a duck, so I start jumping around, and if I jump and hold for as long as I can- to jump higher, then I poof back into a dogfight playertype and fall back to the ground. Is there any way to fix this glitch? Or am I stuck.
(I'm using Slayer if that means anything)

It's been around two hours... anything?

Noedit:

I just thought I'd mention, if it wasn't already very well established in OP, this happens with any and all playertypes that have energy. If I am in a Slayer game, and I use up all the energy in the bar, for some reason I suddenly change datablocks to some seemingly random datablock. I don't even know what datablock I'm changing to anymore. Once I was a dragon, used all my energy and I changed into a blockhead, the kind that was originally set for the slayer game. Then I changed that to dragon, and I stayed a dragon. But if I change into a duck and do that same thing, I decide to change into a Blockhead.

I'm confused.. :c

it probably would have been smart to say this on the slayer thread wouldn't it..  :cookieMonster:
