Dr. Generic recently invited everyone he knew to a gentleman's party at his very own mansion. The party would consist of drinking, laughing and a three-course meal.

Just as the party began, Mr. Generic asked to excuse himself. After awhile, you hear a scream. The maid finds Mr. Generic's body which has been caught fire, and a blood note left on the wall.
"1 - 16 - 0 - DEATH
WHO IS NEXT?"
After a great scare, everyone rushes for the front door. It will not budge.
You cannot move to rooms on different floors if you are not on that floor. You can only move to one room per post. Moving through the stairwells moves you to the next or previous floor.
You can accuse others of being the murderer, and if the said person gets five people to vote against him/her, they are moved into the pantry (jail room) where they cannot escape unless three people vote him/her out (or they break him/her out).
You cannot:
Say your are the murderer, or say you murdered somebody. Murderers do not say they murdered the murder-ees.
Vote against yourself. This is stupid.
Leave the mansion.
Be removed from the list. You don't have to participate, but you could be killed.
Come back from the dead.
Hints:
If a murder happens, that means the killer was/is in that room currently!
Being far away from everyone else does not mean you cannot be murdered.
You aren't always killed when attacked.
