Simple, BlockOS wasn't created when you decided to buy Blockland.

"The new BlockOS" will be an optional part of Blockland Glass. The beta testers of BLG is what will apply, although there's always the option of getting it directly from git.

Obviously it didn't exist in 2009 when I bought Blockland, but I quit Blockland for a while and I never played around the time this thread was posted, but I swear I remember using this add-on.

Pushed ALPHA 1. We've moved into the Alpha stage because we have most of a feature implemented, and we define the alpha stage as adding features. This update includes the BlockOS segment of BLG. Currently, the settings menu is blank and the desktop cannot be disabled. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Because I'd like more user input on this particular feature, I've decided to release this one publicly. Heres the link.
