But I want to start with the roof :C
Actually; I did that once, and it worked perfectly. I started with the roof and built my way down from there.
Actually, this is a genius idea.

Sometimes, building stuff on a grid is helpful for me. If you don't know what I mean, I'll try my best to explain:

For example, say I place down a bunch of 32x32 baseplates together in one huge square, and I just build separate things on each baseplate and put it all together to make a big build. I built a futuristic city using this method. I started by building road pieces (Straights, curves, T-junctions and crossroads) and placing a piece perfectly on a baseplate, and I built buildings and stuff on the remaining plates.

Does anyone else do this?

1) Build a building you are proud of
2) Be content with a job well done
3) Join a server for a bit of a post-masterpiece funtime
4) See an amazing build that you wish you had thought of and realise that you could never build that well
5) Get depressed
6) Always be paranoid about small details and hate your buildings

That's what's happened to me in the past.

i'm very smart in school, it's just ideas and stuff with building.

Aspie's are smart in school

well, i'm almost 14, i'm pretty sure i would know if i had it by now.

I didn't know until age 14.

Do you think it would help to join a social building clan?
I have the same issue about not finishing anything, and joining a social clan has done nothing but put me down even more seeing those who can build far better than me.

I just can't seem to build anymore. This has been happening for years, after I stopped building on Roblox when I just couldn't finish anything anymore. I bought Blockland thinking that would change. It did for awhile, but then it started happening again...I think it may be the limitations of my computer, as I have a 7k brick save I never finished because of lag, but I don't know. It's so frustrating, I try to build something and I immediately lose interest in it. I can't even build a simple house without trying to change things because they don't fit what I want to make. I used to build with LEGOs but stopped because I would never be able to build what I want because I will never have enough bricks. I just wish I could build SOMETHING without always trying to make changes and eventually just giving up.

I've noticed, that when i build, for servers or when i'm going to launch my server, i feel more determined cause i'm letting others enjoy what i have put hours into. (sorry i'm in a hurry)

You guys know, servers that are like Rusty's where it's a community build are really good and healthy. You build somethings, make sure that it fits the limitations, regulations, and style, and present it to your fellows. Then, it gets USED for something. I seriously think that could be a very viable solution, but it's hard to find servers like that. I was lucky to find it, but I liked it so much that I stayed and got admin!
Consider it.

2) Be content with a job well done
3) Join a server for a bit of a post-masterpiece funtime
4) See an amazing build that you wish you had thought of and realise that you could never build that well
5) Get depressed
6) Always be paranoid about small details and hate your buildings

7) Build something even better!

It could be the brickcount.
I start lagging at  50k bricks I think.
