If the child feels they can handle it, and they know the difference between fantasy and reality, I see no loving point in censoring what games they play. I've been playing GTA and other violent video games as well as watching "inappropriate" television since I was 10. I have yet to shoot up a school, my social life is fine, I have no unrealistic expectations, I'm just fine.

but VH
you look like a woman

does that not count

this

My parents believe if I play too many violent video games with extreme amounts of language, etc. (I.E. GTA IV) Then my subconscious is going to tell me it's okay to swear my head off and go shoot up a store or something. Lol..

I played GTA and Doom at 7.
My mom says if she found me playing GTA, I'd be grounded for a very long time.
I can't play any T or M rated game, with some exceptions like Baldur's Gate and DOTA.

Saints row 3 is very bad. GTA IV isn't as bad but it's still pretty bad. That's just my opinion.

Saints Row 3 is.. Insanely bad. First of all, it has a carrot that you hit people with. More realistic than GTA SA, since GTA SA's carrot just looks like those little light-sticks with a arrow on top. Also, on Saints Row 3 I was watching a criken2 video (I think it was a Criken2 video) and they were on some man-pulled cart. And then more appear behind you and when you shoot at them they loving explode.
In GTA SA, the heads decapitate if you headshot somebody. Now, I would talk about Duke Nukem: Forever and how violent it is, that's a complete different story. Anyways, GTA IV has alot of language like "That whore never calls me" or "You CUNT!" and stuff like that. GTA: Vice City just has alot of love scenes. GTA III, I don't see much bad in that except when you shoot someone in the head blood spurts out the middle of their neck.

Ok what.

Ok what.
tl;dr/tc;dr:
GTA:SA, GTA Vice City, GTA IV, and Saints row 3 are very naughty games (GTA IV isn't very bad though) and Duke Nukem: Forever is very very naughty. GTA III isn't that naughty.

Bad, but not really effective on a more mature kid.

San Andreas was godlike

I have GTA:SA. Just got it today. Anyways, edited so you can understand it.

ESRB ratings are there for one loving reason.

Parent's rights if they don't let their child get a game under-age according to ESRB.
However if the child is above the minimum ESRB age rating suggestion, the parents are just starfishs.
And if the child is under ESRB rating and the parents let him buy the game, those parents are loving awesome.

And there are more ratings, but ESRB seems more common to me.

Also, forget esrb.
Just noticed, on their website: "enforces advertising"
