So I looked over iFuzz's post, he has about 4 posts that are pony images that are outside of the megathread.

The three posts in that "aaa yeah" thread.

And I've no idea with the others.

if you haven't figured it out yet, iFuzz is just trying to start the whole thing. i'm pretty sure he WANTED this drama topic to happen.

If no one had ever created threads regarding the show, the forums would be the same really. The only difference is no one would have heard of the show, so there wouldn't have been any discussion related to it.

It's not something I can really know because obviously it has already happened.

You have a good point. I wouldn't mind having just 1 thread, and no discussions about ponies anywhere else. If they keep posting stuff outside of it, then these fights wouldn't happen.

I made a list months ago that showed many different MLP topics. There have only been three megathreads.

Unfortunately, this drama topic happened because some users decided to post outside the thread and people make a big deal about it. I'm not sure who posted first this time, however if it was iFuzz I feel the user did it intentionally to start trouble.

This isn't the first time, and it would continue even with only one topic that stayed to itself (which has happened before).
