So recently, I've received a nomination to attend the National Young Leaders State Conference (NYLSC). Have any of you ever been nominated for this or know what this is? I'm in need of understanding what the crap it is.

Only one person per year gets nominated from each school. You get your photo on the school wall of Distinguished Alumni. (Which I like :p) But I mainly wanted to know if any of you have ever been to the NYLSC and what all that they do?

All I know so far is that I'm staying in a 1st class hotel for four days and that I'm the only one in my school who's going. A total of 13 have gone throughout the years from my school (I'll be the 14th) and I'll be getting the title of a distinguished Alumni. :o

It's located in your own state. I have no idea why it's called national. Maybe because they do it in multiple states.

Hey Corporation, I just got another letter from them today. The Conference I'm going to is being held in my state capital, Indianapolis, IN. Where is yours at?

I've got nominated for the past couple of years, mine was to go to Washington DC, we couldn't afford it.

:C It's like 1600$. I'm poor but my dad is working on getting money for it xDD

Also I'm doing an essay to earn a scholarship for it.
