Disappointed a little, forgot to halve the packet rate to clients so that it wouldn't lag.

Well I had pretty good latency, it hardly ever jumped to 200 or above. I was there when it went to 126 players and I still hardly lagged.

Btw, since New Years was on a weekend, the official party date was January 2, 2012.
I missed the party because my dad turned the PC off at 12:00 that night, and wouldn't let me turn it back on.
