Author Topic: Looking for games for this computer.  (Read 1696 times)

Since I don't have enough money for a new computer, I want games to play on the computer I have.
My specs are:
Windows XP Pro
Nvidia Vanta 16mb
Pentium 4 1.60ghz
128mb ram

I have:
Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge
Age of Empires 2/Conquerors
Quake 3 Arena

I'll play almost anything. FPS, RTS, RPG, anything. Just something I can run.

Get the original Fallout games.
They can't be too heavy a load for a computer if they're 2D.

Play AoE 2 with me brother.

I thought someone on these forums couldn't run terraria.

I thought that was you.

Also. You should definitely Co-Op some Age of Empires 2 with me. <3
Its my favorite RTS of all time, but not many people play it anymore.

Try some of the really old star wars games (Outcast, Dark Forces).

Maybe, we'll see. :o

Ultimate Doom and Doom 2
Quake I, II
Unreal, Unreal Tournament and Unreal Tournament 2004
Command and Conquer Tiberian Dawn, Tiberian Sun and Red Alert
Call of Duty 1, United Offense and 2
X-COM UFO Defense and Terror from the Deep

Nothing quite like the classics.

got Game Ranger?

You could try Worms Armageddon. I don't have the system requirements for it, but it says "Windows 95/98" on the CD, so it might work.

Code: [Select]
MINIMUM
Pentium 100MHz processor
32MB RAM
2X CD-ROM drive
SVGA 1MB video card
16-bit sound card
RECOMMENDED
Pentium 150MHz processor
32MB RAM
4MB video card
4X CD-ROM drive

He should be able to run it. If you don't meet those requirements then I'd be surprised if your computer can browse the internet.

I don't think those will run. My dead computer ran both of those at high and about 25fps. I don't think this will play them. I tried UT99, but the resolution was messed up and my mouse didn't appear when I was in the menus.

EDIT: UT99 was fine on my other computer. I'll give it another go.

nope
whats that
its a little program that basically allows you to join friends in games in stuff.
Its necessary for AoE II because it is so outdated that the normal joining process doesn't work correctly. It makes joining simple and easy.
