Author Topic: Unfriend Finder - Facebook plugin tootoriale  (Read 1327 times)

This is a handy javascript plugin that works for most browsers, but I use Firefox so here's a quick tutorial on how to get this plugin installed, which tells you when people have de-friended you, ignored/deleted a friend request, deactivated their profile, and a couple more things. The best part is, it integrates seamlessly with Facebook as if it were a regular part of the site! Even if you don't find it useful, you've gotta admit this could be handy in some situations.

Firefox
Step 1: Go to Greasemonkey's website and download the plugin.
Step 2: Once it's installed and activated, go to THIS page and in the top right, click the green "install" button.
Step 3: Once it's installed, go to "Manage user scripts" by clicking on the monkey (for greasemonkey) which should have appeared on the right side of your search bar.
Step 4: Make sure Unfriend Finder is enabled
Step 5: Go to facebook and check it out!

Google Chrome
Step 1: Go to THIS link and click install
Step 2: The plugin will automatically be added, simply enjoy.

It'll notify you of updates as they're available, and be aware that occasionally Facebook updates their code and it breaks the plugin. The fixes usually take a couple days at most, but it will be back.

Enjoy!

no lost freinds
then again i only have 24 friends

How does this even work? I don't see why facebook would make the information available to all users.

Facebook doesnt. Im pretty sure the plugin just scans for changes in your friends list, then if someone is missing and the thing can access their profile it says they deleted you, if the person is missing and it cant then they deleted, but idk how they would know if you were ignored so maybe Facebook does let this information be used.

Why is this not for any superior browser, such as Chrome?  I thought we got done with Firefox already...

Chrome users

Simply just go to the link in step 2 and click install.  It'll be added automatically in Chrome.
