i got an idea.

30minutechallenge

rules:

grab a sound clip off of youtube (or internet w/e)
load flash.
START A TIMER FOR 30 MINUTES
animate.
after 30 minutes you must CEASE ALL PRODUCTION.
results: this

Anyone with experience in animation or has flash should do this.

pivot and go! animate do not count and if you even consider using those as a valid animation program you should probably smash your nuts in with a hammer.

I have Flash CS5. I think that flash cs3 is free or really cheap :o

Flash is used for games, web animations, ads and applications too, mostly infact. It's not really a tool only for animating, so you'll get slammed stuff in your face that you don't need.

Pencil is used strictly for animations, so it is more user friendly.
