Which Antivirus has the best protection?

But Malwarebytes is an anti-malware, not an anti-virus. I'd say Avast! or AVG plus Malwarebytes

A virus is a type of malware.


I prefer to just not have one. Anything any AV ever detected for me ends up infecting the system anyways. Even then, that only happens like once a year.

Norton's bad because when it scans it slows down your computer.

Most Anti-viruses do that if your computer is a piece of junk.
I have Norton and I never notice it. Except for the damned message "DOING BACKGROUND SCANS MKAY?"

It will do more than that. They will conflict with each other and cause more issues than just using up a lot of resources.

When it detects a trojan it deletes it straight away.
It says if sites are safe or not, and if im visitng a site that isnt safe it puts me on another page to say if you are sure to go there.

welcome to most anti-viruses.

please try more than one before suggesting one, mcAfee let through a ton of viruses when i was paying for that garbage.
