Author Topic: Which Antivirus has the best protection?  (Read 1155 times)

Speed isn't really an issue, I just need one that will protect my computer thoroughly.

I'm running Norton 360 if that's good enough?

I've also got MalwareBytes.

Anyone got any opinions on Bitdefender?

Norton all the way man!

Norton.
Horrible detection rate, a stuffload of problems, virus makers want to code their viruses to bypass Norton.
Use MalwareBytes or something.

Strength Plus Condoms, the best kind.

Norton sucks ass

Use MalwareBytes or something.

But Malwarebytes is an anti-malware, not an anti-virus. I'd say Avast! or AVG plus Malwarebytes

I have that already.

This is probably one of the best choices.
I would recommend one of the obscene, Chinese anti-viruses I use, but I actually don't know the name of it, and I don't think you read Chinese.

I have that already.

Seriously?
Use Avast or AVG in combination with it.

Avast for sure. At least in my experience, AVG's been a piece of stuff. :o

I just use windows's default antivirus, Windows Defender

The general suggestions are either AVG, avast! or Microsoft Security Essentials.

best protection?
well nobody needs protection
just tell her they were all out of condoms

I've been using Norton for about 10 years now and I have never had any notable virus. You should really be asking yourself, "Am I a handicapped user?" If you're not, don't worry.

PC User: The viruses are planning an attack at dawn!
PC User: RAISE THE WALLS!!
Windows Defender: Lol, wut walls?

Norton's bad because when it scans it slows down your computer.
