Not saying you can't make it but I know about 9999 kids saying they're gonna become rappers.

It'll be a tough ride bro and by that time the music may not even be popular anymore.

Damn, you got me with that one. May as well go and kill myself.

I would try to learn some kind of instrument (like guitar or get familiar with audacity) before you try to rap.

I would suggest trying to master poetry to help you with lyrics.

Don't hold back. Tell us what you're really thinking.

Hip-Hop/Rap?

3 problems:

1.  No guarantee that these genres will be desirable.

2.  You have to go to prison first before you do.

3.  If you aren't good after this, then you will have ruined your clean record, received improper education            in order to get a quality job.  You'll be sunk.

I challenge you to perfectly rap the beginning of HYFR feat. Lil Wayne by Drake.

too bad you can't travel back in time when hip-hop and rap was mainstream in 2000-2009

but now its dubstep.

you are 14
you do not have a career

you are 14
you do not have a career
but he wants to establish one for the future

oh
it's too early for that, really
though it might be a good idea to get a vague idea of careers you are interested in
because I'm pretty sure that at about 11th grade you're going to have to start choosing career-specific classes

also music isn't exactly the best career
make sure you have something in mind in case it doesn't work out, and it probably wont, to be honest with you

I underrstand this, I am mainley focusing right now on a medium paying job and move into a house with a friend and work up enough money to buy equiptment then write song on my off time.
Once I get this down if it dosent work out, well then I guess I move onto my higher education.
