Do somethin dark green and bru, same general dragon idea, but from front of face, grinning?
I dunno.

R-R-Rainbows.

Good work :u

Makes me think of some kind of light reflecting dragon.

I should have spent longer on this piece ;-;

Still awesome, and bump for awesome.
Thanks!

Personally, I don't see these as great due to head shape being unusual and scaling with body not normal. Some pieces like the green dragon head and the face have some creepy issues, specifically the mouth of both.

The green dragon's mouth needs shaping to fit the simulated head shape while the face mouth needs to be moved upwards and elongated (a bit) and the nose shortened. Also, doing without lips (as I found in my case) tends to make the mouth less disproportionate and unusual compared to the rest of the face.

I can't do as well as this, though. Keep up the work.

That's the above image right?

I personally don't like front-views due to their depiction of the mouth, eyes and neck. It's very difficult to somehow make the mouth grin without making it look awkward. For this piece I tried to make it short-snouted and more human like because of the difficulties.

If I were to redo it I would add some sort of way to show the length of the neck because currently the front-limbs are missing and should have been placed directly where the detail begins to deteriorate. I would also try to remove the grin from the frontal part of the mouth since it messed up the positioning and place the grin at each end of the mouth (while also trying to make it look natural).

Next front face piece I do, I'll try to incorporate your views to see if it works out.

Hmm
Perhaps sharper shading could create more depth?
I'm no expert.

I'm still trying different techniques but sharper shading has flaws and benefits.

The benefit is that when working with shading different colours, a sharp bright colour for the direction of a light source helps while an extremely dark colour at another points creates a contrast.

The flaw is..well sometimes it just looks crap in my opinion.

Anyways soon I'll have a dedicated scanner in my room for art and stuff.

I'm always so easily impressed by any kind of digital paintings :|

I did this a few weeks ago but I've just uploaded it.
