This is another good point.

I've spent over 1,200 hours legitimately playing TF2 (idlers are friends!) and I believe I've amassed more items than most people who've started playing since it went F2P. I've spent my fair share of money on the game, but in the end I could end up making a profit.

the default inventory space is more than enough to have one copy of every single weapon, which is literally all you need to fully enjoy tf2

there's a handful of weapons that are better than their standard counterparts, yeah, but only 3 of those are literally better. the rest are considered to be better, but for 95% of the weapons in tf2 default is king
