Technically I almost started in the mad that shall not be named, but came across BLM instead, never played vanilla really. This was probably back in Jan 2005 too... didn't get to RTB till just under a year ago though.

My first Blockland build was a basic house, no pics because it was at a friends house.
My first RTB builds were a bridge (two control towers allowed you to raise the center) and a Car Shop/Garage. No pics either.
My first RTB builds that I took pics of were my original USSR app. Pics here:

The first build that i can remember is from back, like 2 years ago, before even.... Dang, i can't even remember his name, or his mod, but he made a map, and this one buildable car, but the car didn't work, but it revolutionized blockland building... Anyway, before even that came out, the first build i remember was this one REALLY crappy app to the clan {FrAg}.... it was a house with windows on the side and a really uneven roof...

Gah, no edit, anyway, the first RTB build was this huge castle with a working drawbridge :)

First (sirios, yes i know i spelled it wrong) build..... It might have been my [MotE] App... Not too sure on that one

My first retail build... well... im still kinda building it, but it will be in gallery soon

I don't have any pics from any of my builds from RTB. So i will just post my first retail build.
