Will this router work well? And, if I just unplug all the internet cords from my current hub and plug it in to the router, will it work just fine?

Here's my setup:

They're mostly internet cords going to my Xbox and my PC.

Would a wireless or a wired router work better for this?

If you don't already have a wireless router, you can get one and turn it into a bridge like you have in that image.

It's 10/100mbps, so as long as you don't need speeds over 100mbps, you're good to go.

You can literally just swap them and you'll be fine. You might need to configure the router for certain things (ie portforwarding for hosting). Message me if you need help with that.

I've had problems with Linksys routers in the past. They're cheap, but sometimes unreliable.

if you use it as a bridge it's not a router
it allows the use of extra connections from one jack
