Author Topic: OZR - a record label formed by a few of my friends  (Read 650 times)

One Zip Records is a 'record label' that a few of my friends formed. I'm currently attempting at producing music for them, but I suck compared to them.
Here are a few examples of their stuff.
http://soundcloud.com/shango-zeropoint <- Shango. Good friend of mine. Fantastic lyrics.
http://soundcloud.com/alecksawklr <- Alex. This guy has been getting us into a mixtape called Senzu. We're working with some pretty great artists. (http://senzu.bandcamp.com/) He makes chill glitch-hop stuff.
http://soundcloud.com/wopak <- Spencer. One of my best bros. He makes all sorts of stuff, really :u His best stuff is his French house songs IMO.
http://soundcloud.com/cosmicantics <- Otis. OOOLD friend. He makes some cool hiphoppy stuff.

If you wanna see the rest of us, here's our website:

What programs are they using? And where are they recording? :O I've been wanting to record music FOREVER. Obviously you can just connect electric instruments to a computer.

Most of them use Ableton Live. It's electronic music - they don't use actual instruments like drums.

Garageband ftw.

It's actually not that bad. Gotten better with recent versions. GREAT for piano composition.
