Wollay replies: Making an MMORPG is too complex for me (but would be cool indeed).

Ryan Harding asks: How many times can you upgrade items, can you upgrade your body armor, and can you upgrade something with a stronger material?
Wollay replies: Currently the upgrade limit is 10 times. Yes, body armor is upgradable. I plan to add special upgrade materials.

Wollay replies: Just by placing different spirit stones.

Wollay replies: Yes probably. I have to see how good it works/looks with races that have strange heads like lizardmen.

Ryan Harding asks: Oh, and can you upgrade armor with spirit cubes for a passive bonus like defense? Or is it limited to weapons and shields only?
Wollay replies: Yes, you can also upgrade armor and get passive stats like health, strength, fire resistance, depending on the used spirits.

Wollay replies: Yes.

Ryan Harding asks: Awesome! Do the spirits give you bonuses like regular cubes as well or is it just the spirit's effect? And does 1 cube = 1 upgrade?
Wollay replies: Just the spirit's effect but it's more powerful than a regular cube. 1 cube = 1 upgrade.

Ryan Harding asks: Ok, that's what I thought. One last question: can you remove upgrade cubes if you're unhappy with what you have?
Wollay replies: Yes you can re-arrange the cubes without destroying them. But you can't detach a cube and put it on another weapon.

Chase porter asks: Since you can already put spirit cubes on weapons and such, how about the ability to put custom made crests on weapons?
Wollay replies: I'd like to keep it simple for now, but maybe in future.

Wollay replies: yes

Kaikhorus asks: I'm guessing that there are weapon and armour types other than iron, but they're being hidden from us right now. Correct?
Wollay replies: Not hidden, I still need to implement them.

Tim Havok asks: I love the new combat system. Did you change the numbers of upgrades you can put on your armor/weapons? More customization?
Wollay replies: Yeah I'm still experimenting with the max number. Currently it's 32 so you can add more details.

Some One asks: Will you be able to design armors and weapons from scratch using the spirit cubes?
Wollay replies: No, just upgrade existing ones.

Wollay replies: Not from scratch. You can place a limited number of cubes (currently 32) on existing weapons.

June asks: Can we upgrade and add spirit stones to bows? Like, instead of using iron/stone blocks we use wood blocks or something like that...
Wollay replies: Yeah, you can upgrade wood bows with wood blocks and spirit blocks.

Adam Stolarski asks: I was also wondering how it is that we obtain materials like Iron and Wood. Is this where you implemented breaking down old equips?
Wollay replies: Yes, there are NPCs which can disenchant weapons and armor to small cubes.

DoubleCaster asks: What about making enemies drop cube instead of weapons, then you could fully customize armors and wepons. (Blueprints to restrict)
Wollay replies: I think it's more fun if enemies sometimes drop rare weapons/armor than just cubes all the time.

Robert davis asks: Then your weapon would either be good, evil, or neutral. And when they max out, they have a special power feat.
Wollay replies: That's a cool idea. Currently I'm busy with implementing other things, but it would be a nice feature for the future.

Wollay replies: There are already dragons in the game.

Ian Hey asks: The character you were playing as was the girl version of the humans. Is there gonna be female versions of the Orc,undead?
Wollay replies: Yes, I'll try to make female versions for all races.

Wollay replies: Yes, races will have different base attributes (health, strength, agility, attack speed, intelligence, resistances).

Chris asks: I've seen the lizard man creature pop up now and then. Any plans on making that playable, too?
Wolay replies: Yeah, I'll make them playable.

Wollay replies: I'm thinking about adding factions which are hostile against each other. E.g. humans, elves and dwarves will be in one faction.

Wollay replies: I plan to implement a skill system, maybe something like talent trees.

Wollay replies: The system in Cube World will be without slots. You'll be able to place cubes with special attributes anywhere on your weapon.

Wollay replies: I think flying mounts are not good for the gameplay. It's cooler when you have to climp up mountains and swim through rivers etc.

Moose asks: What about a handglider? Yea it's call to climb up, but gliding down is awesome \o/
