Could Fallout/S.T.A.L.K.E.R. occur in REAL LIFE?

Listen. Call me crazy, but has anyone heard of the REAL Stalkers that hang around Chernobyl and Pripyat? What if bands of people were to head to the Mojave Desert in Nevada and actually have a day-to-day LARP of Fallout?

It's most definitely possible. I've been through the Mojave numerous times, on different occasions. Twice for eagle scouts, and once for a vacation to Las Vegas with a few buddies and I. Being an active fan of Bethesda's Fallout series, I've driven out into the large expanses of desert surrounding the Las Vegas area. It's absolutely enormous. I honestly couldn't see anyone running out of room, per say.

I'm not saying that I, myself, would participate in this LARP, but it's quite an idea.

forget yeah it would. I'm not saying that I wouldn't be willing, but it's not as easy as it sounds. You can't just drive out into the desert, expecting to find other 'Wastelanders'.

A STALKER LARP could never occur in real life since almost all of the exclusion zone around Chernobyl retains varying levels of background radiation.
Unless you feel like being confined to the Cordon forever, but that would be pretty crap
