Like I said before, mining isn't the only way to gain exp.  You can hunt monsters, cook a variety of items, or do dungeons with a group of people.
I plan on adding more RPG elements such as quests, but right now there are to many bugs to fix for me to focus on things like that.

Fix combat, felt like whacking a bot with a stick repeatedly. The only things that killed me were another player and starvation.

This depends on what level you are.  Combat becomes more advanced at higher levels.  If you haven't gotten to 2nd job yet, then you haven't experienced what kind of combat i'm talking about.

If your worry'd at all about saved data, it is still there and alway's will be, lol.

Yes, thanks for notifying everyone.  I shall update the topic with some info on StoneQuest 2 while I wait for kalph's hosting service to go back up :\

I would love to work on the quest system, but there are so many things I need to do first, just to get them out of the way.  The reason I'm doing these other things first is because the quest system will have so much detail put into it, and I really don't want anything to distract me while I'm making it.  The quests are on their way, so you can calm down :P

When i open the Stonequest GUI, I cannot exit out of it without leaving the server, can you add an exit button to the GUI please?

Just presss the button that you used to open it again.
