That's just really bizarre.
I liked the contest comic.
I was expecting it to finish yesterday, but didn't check it.
I've kept myself kind of seperate from Prequel, since it's been slow to update since I first started reading it.
I do enjoy it a lot, but I just have to check the page sparingly.
I have a whole list of webcomics I view regularly, and when I thumb through the regularly updating ones I'll have a glance at Prequel and the others that sporadically update.
It's a shame that the comics progression is so slow, but it's not really a problem.
The author has all their extra stuff to do in life, and no one is really paying for the series. It's not had a kickstarter appeal or anything.
The author could seriously do quite well though if they sped up with it, but if they do it leisurely then I suppose they do it leisurely.
I don't know at what point the vote was finished, but if it was a while ago, it's only got 3533 votes, so obviously, the voting rate dropped drastically after the reward finished.
