Ohohoh those big fat friends.

I used to not want to run for President ever.  The last thing I would want is to run this country with my hands because of all the bullstuff that ensues no matter what move you make.  But right now, I want to run for president just to reverse this bullstuff.  I'm really sick as hell of all the politicians we have now that don't truly represent the people.  At this point our entire democracy (if you can even call it that anymore) is literally just "choose this corporate-sponsored spokesperson with a red tie, or choose this corporate-sponsored spokesperson with a blue tie".  It's loving ridiculous.

Times like these I can guarantee that our forefathers are rolling in their graves as everything they did is just completely ignored.

>.<
yeah, cuz theyd make 2 bills for the exact same thing. totally.
pipa is the senate's bill, sopa is the house's bill.

they both do pretty much the same thing.

Fredulus is somehow managing to blindly defend this bill, I don't know if it's the pure shock that he can't believe that his government is actually doing this or if he's being paid to support it...

Intellectual Property
What loving bullstuff.

One of the major reasons that we left that dark ages is because the Government started protecting property. When there were rules that said "No, John owns this land and you cannot take it." and "No, John made this invention and only he can profit from it.", people were compelled to invent and earn because they would actually be assured the benefits of their products.

Also, your example provided is one of the most horrendous instances of illogical fallacy I have ever seen, and is probably a clusterforget of three or four different ones.

"My name is Eric Hartman. I made a game called Blockland. Here's proof I made Blockland, and only I should be able to collect profit from it because it is my idea and my invention."
That is an example of Intellectual Property.

I also work online developing software for an Australian company that had me sign an Non-disclosure agreement over the code of their system. Why? Even though I wrote a lot of code, it's not my product. I am an employee of that company and they are buying my code as a contractor for use in their product. The product is their Intellectual Property, and I am an employee that develops it.

This is an extremely important concept.
