people have been doing things different here for centuries, i think it'd be pretty hard to change us now.

Just like the use of the Oxford comma. But whichever you choose, you should stay consistent.




Anyway, I spell it both ways to throw people off. It really depends on my mood.

Colour and color get the same point across in most, if not all contexts.
Same applies for grey and gray.
I use both because I forget which one I like to use.
So it'll jump around. Sometimes I'll use both spellings in the same essay.
