This is an interesting little religion philisophical belief ive come across, but like any religion, I don't agree with absolutely everything it stands for. I thought I might share what I've learned so far about Nihilism:
Nihilism, in a nutshell, is the belief that there is no point in life. We are all here for no reason other than existing. Some Nihilists believe that since there is no point in living, morals are pointless and often nonexistant. Humanity is literally put here to be born, live, only to die. According to this religion, there is no afterlife, no heaven or hell, no reincarnation, just nothing.
There are a few different forms of nihilism:
Nihilism of Existance- This one is easy. Life is pointless. There is no meaning to it.
Moral Nihilism- This is the belief that there are no morals in life, as life is pointless to begin with. An example of moral nihilism would be witnessing murder, something society today feels is wrong. Moral Nihilism would imply that the action of murder is neither right nor wrong. It is somewhat like seeing both sides of the argument: the action was wrong because it deprived the person of life, but right because it prevented unneeded suffering.
Metaphysical Nihilism- This is a bit harder to explain. This is the belief that there might not be any objects existing at all. Think about the Matrix.
Political Nihilism- The belief that government, rules, laws, and any other things of the sort don't exist/are not needed.
