It's a little different than a dog just dying, which is not so awful; it's a blatant act of cruelty for absolutely no reason. The dog is covered in flammable liquid and then lit on fire. Then they let it go and watch it run and then try to put itself out and they laughed. Eventually it turns black and then dies, completely engulfed in flames.
I am not a big advocate of animal rights, but almost everyone on Earth who is not straight-up trolling would find the video awful. The real issue here is not even a dog being killed but that that an animal capable of feeling was made to suffer for entertainment. Killing it in a more humane way would have been cheaper, faster, safer, and easier, but it was lit on fire for the lulz. Not for food, not as a punishment, not as a religious sacrifice, and not even to just get it off this planet and out of the way, but for the lulz.
And that's terrible.
