Pants problem :u

So, lately I've needed new pants because I only have 2 pairs that I actually like. And I got some.
Here's the problem:
One of the pairs of pants have too small of pockets. I can barely put my phone, wallet, pencils, and stuff in there. How can I fix this?
Another pair of pants' button won't close. I think I'm going to cut the little hole thing and make it bigger.
