Author Topic: The USA is gone  (Read 5820 times)

ndaa restored (not that it was technically ever gone) the draft, and lowered the age to which an american can/will join the military to 16.

among 100 other interesting things, not even related to the detainment issue.

the last thing we need is a bunch of 16 year olds in the army.

I'm pretty sure NDAA wasn't passed, from what I've heard

it was very much passed. by law it HAS to be passed every year. this year it was delayed few times for changes but ultimately, time ran out. and it was passed with the stuffty stuff still in it.

On these forums, there's no self-control with temper.  Whenever there is, it becomes easily broken by morons like Fredulus.

Don't worry, it's not your fault. The whole government passing stupid bills thing is pretty stressful, tbh. Everyone I know irl is talking about it.

Being serious here, it is actually pretty scary if you think about it.

sopa seems like dumb crap to keep noobs focused elsewhere while the ndaa is what's important

Yes BUT nobody has seen (well seen isn't much as the govt is good at hiding things) but nobody has actually seen any of this happen. It isn't a police state yet, is what I'm trying to get at.

yeah no kidding. i mentioned it on facebook months ago, and everyone just said
"is this the thing where they block websites?"

i was raged

Unfortunately they can't use the same treatment for the NDAA that they do with the government budget.

Which involves pushing back the deadline further and further and further and further and further...

It is.  But I'm glad everyone I know is talking about it too.  I'm counting like, maybe 20+ people that have shared the link.  The majority are obviously internet users, whether its YouTube, tumblr, etc.

Normally I would've uploaded the gyazo snippet to imgur, but they are joined in on the blackout.

Imgur is actually using a tool that will connect you with your senator via your phone and provide you some talking points.

Te thing that I am worried about is the fact that 16 year olds are young, gullible, and in the teenage years so they're a bit more suseptible to govt brainwash.

Ike, as far as I know, there was a new amendment to the NDAA that puts us under martial law (more or less). That's why everyone's flipping stuff over it.

Can someone find for me where NDAA actually states lowering the age to 16, and where it states that they can arrest people ect?

Cause I can't find it and I just want to make sure I'm looking at the right thing.

Both documents only talk about ending the draft, but they are both different documents so I really have no clue if i'm looking at the right thing here.
