So I have to go around and ask people,

"Which is more important, animals or humans?"

I need to get 30 responses and I don't have many friends so I only have 6. If you could leave an answer, that'd be great. Preferably no more than 80 words.

EDIT: I know the question isn't very specific, however this is what I was told to ask. Interpret it how you wish, yer answers are appreciated.

Humans. Animals are on the bottom of the food chain, have no sense of actual "being" and have no actual "emotions" other than the necessary reflex from pain or the euphoria of love.

Should've put in a poll, easier to keep track of the votes.

they're equally important - we depend on animals for our environment and survival

Animals because humans are technically animals.

Animals. Animals are important to humans for many uses, whether it be protection and companionship, in the case of dogs, food, in the case of cattle, or maybe even learning more about ourselves and how we came about, in the case of the primates. Don't get me wrong, humans are very important as well, but without animals we would have some real issues.

There is no criteria here for determining which is more important. If you mean as a whole, they're equally important.

This would be easier if you gave some sort of context for the question.

That's like asking, "Whats more important, a bug or a mosquito?" You're still talking about the same thing.

Humans, because we probably have the technology to exist without animals.

Humans, because we probably have the technology to exist without animals.

But that technology can destroy a planet. Animals cause no harm to the ecosystem, in fact they keep it balanced.
